伴隨著資訊科技的發展,智慧型手機在我們的日常生活中,扮演著不可或缺的角色。我們可以更輕鬆地藉由手機媒介悠遊網路世界,如:網路購物、社群網站等。甚至每到一個地方就打卡留念,並昭告天下。另一方面,資料安全、資料隱私問題的重要性隨著水漲船高。一直到2018年歐盟的 GDPR 新隱私保護規範生效,且真正地付諸實行,隱私問題儼然成為一個新的焦點。近幾年出現眾多的個資外洩案,讓使用者開始意識到我們不僅在網路上享受便利的服務,同時也留下許多的「資訊足跡」,而這些足跡很有可能受到非法的收集與濫用,故民眾的隱私顧慮慢慢地提升了。本研究試圖從用戶的角度,探討當前用戶在社群媒體上使用定位、打卡(如:Facebook打卡、Instagram地點標注等)等基本上自我揭露了行蹤資訊的行為,究竟受到什麼因素影響,以使用任何能讓他人得知或追蹤個人位置的定位功能為情境。 ;With the advance of Information technology and Social media, smartphones play an important role of helping people to easily surf online, such us online shopping, online socializing and so on. Even position ourselves with App features such as Check-in with Facebook, positioning with Geotags with Instagram. However, the other edge of the sword is the security and privacy exposure problems brought along with these developments. As GDPR, the new European Union privacy protection directives took effect, and was actually put into action, privacy issues become an important focus of discussions. The recent frequent events of privacy information breaches, led users to realize that while enjoying the convenience, we are leaving numerous footprints in the cyber-world, that can be illegally collected and exploited. Hence, awareness in privacy issues escalates.This study attempts to look into the causes that affect the usage of these positioning features that potentially expose our whereabouts.
