中央大學高能物理實驗團隊自西元1999年參與大強子對撞機上的CMS實驗。在過去十五 年中,我們建造了CMS的前置簇射偵測器(Preshower),並主導了其偵測器監控、數據品質監 測系統的設計和建造,以及整體的能量校正。Preshower 偵測器於2009年初完成安裝。2009 年底大強子對撞機開始進行質子質子對撞,我們的中心工作已由硬體建造轉為維護以及物 理分析。在過去五年,我們發表數篇關於雙玻色子物理,尋找希格斯粒子和新物理的論 文,並且貢獻至CMS實驗團隊希格斯粒子的發現,此重要發現使得2013年的諾貝爾物理獎頒 發給五十年前提出BEH機制理論的兩位理論學家。本計劃著眼於(一)雙希格斯玻色子物理分 析、(二) CMS第二階段偵測器升級計劃以及(三)下一代的環型正負電子對撞機 ─ 希格斯粒 子工廠。 ;2. 計畫英文摘要。(五百字以內) The experimental high energy physics group at National Central University (NCUHEP) has been in CMS at the LHC since 1999. My group successfully participated in the construction and commissioning of CMS Preshower detector, and have since become the leading group on the Detector Control System (DCS), Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) and calibration of the Preshower. Preshower was installed in early 2009. Since the startup of proton-proton collisions at LHC in the end of 2009, our main mission has moved from hardware oriented activities to physics analysis. Over the last five years, my group published several papers on di-boson physics, the search of the Higgs boson and the search of new physics. My group also contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson made by the CMS collaboration. This important discovery made two theorists who proposed the BEH mechanism fifty years ago were awarded by the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013. In this proposal, I propose to work on (1) the physics analysis of di-Higgs production, (2) CMS phase 2 detector upgrade and (3) the circular electron positron collider (CEPC) as a Higgs factory.
