    摘要: 在世界各地的同性戀文化中,中國的男色文化是具有獨特色彩的一支,雖然不是主流文化,卻也未曾斷絕。魏晉南北朝是中國男色文化的第三個巔峰時期,卻少有研究,頗為可惜。筆者希望能建構出魏晉南北朝的男色文化樣貌及其特點,完善相關研究。運用的研究方法有文獻分析與文本詮釋、性別理論、酷兒理論、文化研究,除了對中國古代「男色」進行定義,也運用西方理論凸顯中國古代男色的特色,並與現今認知的「同性戀」進行差異的區別。魏晉南北朝的男色已不再專指男同性戀,擴展到男性美的範疇。
    對於主題魏晉南北朝男色文化,筆者先從背景入手,分為三點:一、宮廷文化。二、社會風氣。三、思想觀念。宮廷文化中有傳統歷史的因素,社會風氣則是展現出了時代氛圍,而思想觀念和言行舉止密不可分,從三個不同面向,觀看男色文化之所以興起的背景。接著則是做出比較,以徐陵編寫的《玉臺新詠》解析南朝男色現象,再從史書記載探析北朝男色現象,並比較南北朝的男色文獻所呈現的差異。最後則是探討女性與男色、女色之間的關係,包含歷史上鮮少紀錄的女同性戀,而男色不再僅是男性可以選擇的性傾向,女性的地位在這個年代有特別的改變,這部分較少研究著墨。透過研究列出魏晉南北朝的男色文化特色,筆者統整為三點:一、性權力關係的改變;二、影響傳統家庭關係;三、與道德法律相衝突。運用傅柯(Michel Foucaule)的權力說的概念,看魏晉南北朝的男色文化在性權力關係上的特色,以及男色文化對於傳統家庭關係與道德法律之間的衝突。
    ;In queer cultures around the world, Chinese male homoerotic culture is the one with the most unique characteristics of all, which remained a subculture and existed till now. The Wei, Chin Southern and Northern Dynasties is the third prosperous period of male homoeroticism in history but seldom studies focus on it. In this thesis, I intend to demonstrate the cultural contexts and the characteristics of male homoeroticism in Wei, Chin Southern and Northern Dynasties to make contribution to related studies. The methodologies applied in the thesis includes literature analysis, interpretation of texts, gender theory, queer theory and culture studies. This thesis aims not only to define ancient Chinese “male homoeroticism” but also to put emphasis on the characteristics of Chinese male homoerotic culture through the application of western theories. I will also compare the differences of these characteristics with the contemporary definition of “homosexuality.” Here I clarifies that the male homoerotic cultural spectrum in Wei, Chin Southern and Northern not only refers to male homoeroticism but also male beauty is included.
    In the thesis, I will first begin with the historical background and focus on court culture, social atmosphere and ideologies. The reasons for the prosperity of male homoerotic culture at that period can be perceived in three different dimensions: the court culture influenced by traditional history, the social atmosphere which presents contemporary atmosphere and the close connection of ideologies and behavior. In what follows, the theory in New Songs from the Jade Terrace, which is edited by Xu Ling, is applied to analyze male homoerotic culture phenomenon in Southern Dynasty and the historical texts are introduced to interpret male homoerotic culture phenomenon in Northern Dynasty. Then I will compare the differences male homoerotic literature presented in the two Dynasties. Last but not least, I will pay emphasis on the relationship between women and male/female beauty. The relationship between the two is unique in this Dynasty due to the rise in women’s status, meaning not only men but also women can choose to appreciate male beauty. This part of study is seldom mentioned in present studies. Through analyzing the characteristics of male homoerotic culture in the Wei, Chin Southern and Northern Dynasties, I conclude three main characteristics: transformation of power relations in sexuality, the impact on traditional concept of family relationship and the conflict with ethics, morality and laws. Finally, by applying Michel Foucault’s concept of power, I investigate the characteristics of power relations in sexuality concerning male homoerotic culture in the Wei, Chin Southern and Northern Dynasties, and the conflict resulted from male homoerotic culture with traditional concept of family relationship and ethics, morality and laws.
