    Title: 可溶性噻吩並吡咯酮衍生物有機光電材料之開發;Development of Soluble Thienopyrroledione(TP) Derivatives for Organic Optoelectronic Applications

    Abstract: 本論文主要可以分為有機薄膜電晶體 (OTFTs)、有機光伏打電池電池 (OPVs) 和有機發光二極體 (OLEDs) 的材料介紹。
    本研究主要設計出新興可溶性噻吩並吡咯酮衍生物的有機光電材料,以具有支碳鏈之噻吩並吡咯酮 (TP) 與羅丹寧作為末端拉電子基團,分別與噻吩、苯環以及多稠環噻吩衍生物之核心共軛單元耦合,開發出十三個新的有機化合物,依分類可歸納出以下幾種,可溶性單環系列:DTPRT (1)、DTPRT-b8 (3)、DTPRP-b8 (4),可溶性雙環系列:DTPRTT-b8 (5)、DTPRbT-b8 (6),可溶性多環系列:DTPRBDT-b8 (11)、DTPRIDT-b8 (12)、DTPRIDTT-b8 (13),以及溶解度不佳的化合物:DTPRbT (2)、DTPRDTT-b8 (7)、DTPR3T-b8 (8)、DTPRffBT-b8 (9)、DTPRSF-b8 (10)。
    利用 UV-vis 與 DPV 探討所開發分子的 HOMO 與 LUMO 能階,藉由 TGA 探討這些新開發材料之熱穩定性。目前,化合物 DTPRBDT-b8 (11) 和 DTPRIDT-b8 (12) 的溶液放光約在 850 nm,而在 650 nm 波長的固態放射激發,可達到 1100 nm 的近紅外光區,DTPRBDT-b8 (11) 在甲苯溶劑中之量子產率為 7.6%,DTPRIDT-b8 (12) 在環己烷溶劑中之量子產率為 8.4%,其餘材料之 OTFTs 和 OPVs 元件性質仍在待測中。
    ;A series of new organic optoelectronic materials were synthesized and characterized for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs), organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).
    Thiophenyl, phenyl, and fused thiophene units were served as a central cores and were end-capped with electron withdrawing groups, such as thienopyrrole with β- substituted alkyl side chains or rhodanine. Via Stille coupling, thirteen new materials, DTPRT (1), DTPRbT (2), DTPRT-b8 (3), DTPRP-b8 (4), DTPRTT-b8 (5), DTPRbT-b8 (6), DTPRDTT-b8 (7), DTPR3T-b8 (8), DTPRffBT-b8 (9), DTPRSF-b8 (10), DTPRBDT-b8 (11), DTPRIDT-b8 (12) and DTPRIDTT-b8 (13) were prepared.
    The optical and electrochemical properties (HOMO and LUMO) of these materials were characterized by UV-vis and DPV. Thermal properties were investigated by TGA. Currently, the emission spectra of DTPRBDT-b8 (11) and DTPRIDT-b8 (12) in solution exhibit peak at about 850 nm. In particular, the emission spectra of these two molecules in solid-state could reach 1100 nm near-infrared region, excited at 650 nm. The quantum yield of DTPRBDT-b8 (11) in toluene and DTPRIDT-b8 (12) in cyclohexane are 7.6% and 8.4%, respectively. These newly developed materials OTFTs, OPVs or OLEDs device studies are under progress.
