研究期間:10111~10210;With the rapid development of information communication technology and popularity of portable devices, the e-Learning not only escapes from the limitation of time and space, but allows researchers to develop related services via an open environment and rich technologies. Followed by the experiences on development of tools related to e-Learning, our group aims at strengthening the supports to Pervasive Learning through this industry-academy project. Three core services, SOA-based Learning Management System, Using Kinematic Technology to control Smart TV, and Using NFC Technology to provide Interactive Learning Environment, will be presented and developed through implementation of the project. The first services is an web application service based on traditional Learning Management System, providing learning content or information for end-client users via Application Programming Interface (API), and users can use different end-client devices to access our web services. It is so-called Service-Oriented Architecture, SOA. The second one pays attention on using webcam on the Smart TV and some image processing and computer vision method to recognize user’s gestures to control the Smart TV through their body. The last one then emphasizes on using NFC device on mobile devices to interact with other users or environment, to provide an Interactive Learning Environment. We try to optimize the pervasive learning environment through processing of development of learning environment “Smart Classroom” based on the services mentioned above. The know-how will be transferred to partner, 500net, to proceed the commercial products under agreement of National Science Council, Taiwan. Meanwhile, the pre-leased implementation can also be downloaded and tested from Android Market for free.
