    摘要: 研究期間:10108~10207;The Kuroshio region is one of the main heat suppliers to the northern hemisphere of higher latitude. The variation of the air-sea flux of Kuroshio region affects the global heat budget and dominates the climate of the surroundings, which could extends to the mid- and northern China. Comprehensive monitoring and investigation of the north section of Kuroshio region i.e. Japan Sea, East China Sea and Kuroshio Extension have been carried out, however, studies of the Kuroshio air-sea flux along the eastern coast of Taiwan are still rare. In this section, severe air-sea heat flux may reach to 200 〜300 W/m2 during winter. Accurate estimations of air-sea flux data using model assessment and observation is crucial for the climate study. The aim of present study is twofold, l.from the climate scale viewpoint, evaluate the Kuroshio air-sea flux of Taiwan section using EHTW ocean-atmosphere coupled model and investigate the its temporal variations. Comparative studies of model results to other dataset such as OAFlux, KEO etc. will be carried out. 2. From the process-based viewpoint, investigate the mechanisms that control the air-sea flux on the Kuroshio surface, especially on the effects of upper ocean dynamics such as sea surface mean square slope, whitecaps and sea spray to the flux coefficient Cd, Ce and Bowen Ratio. In-situ measurements of air-sea flux using eddy covariance instruments and sea surface features using microwave radars will be implemented at Lan-Yu, which is an island on the mid of Kuroshio stream.
