Abstract:	Learning curve effects are important issues for planning production schedules and anticipating the production batches. A modified learning curve is used to fit the manufacture of products in the growth phase of its life cycle. By means of the effects of learning curve, a model for batch production quantity is developed. After using some management technique to estimate the learning curve, an iterative algorithm for finding the optimal solution is built and verified with an example.
