    Abstract: The solution areas of the three-component afocal zoom system with two moving components are solved. There are totally eight solution areas which are found by this analytical method. The graphical expression is used to classify those areas, which gives an easy way to find the solution areas of afocal zoom lens. Five examples are used to consider the solution area in this paper.
