近年來東南亞經濟與人口發展所帶來的環境問題(工業污染、生質燃燒)已受到國際重視,其排放的大氣污染物(如溫室氣體和氣膠)與大氣輻射之間的交互作用,引發氣候改變與全球暖化等議題,對科學研究社群為極具挑戰的課題。自2007 年起,本團隊開始參與美國海軍 (NRL)、太空總署(NASA)、國家大氣研究中心(NCAR)等共同規劃 “The 7 South East Asian Studies (or 7-SEAS)”國際觀測實驗,時程預計 2010- 2013 年。因此,本計畫主要目的為,於7-SEAS 計畫執行之前一年(2009),進行東沙島海洋大氣觀測平台之儀器預先測試,並測試海洋研究船籌載觀測,監測大氣化學、大氣輻射與氣象等重要參數。在 2009 年測試期間,東沙島和海洋研究船將提供7-SEAS 計畫中一個極為重要測試平台,此平台將開放給美國與東南亞各國科學研究團隊進行儀器測試與資料比對。本計畫規劃四大科學研究主題/團隊: (1)大氣化學與輻射 (2)區域天氣預報與熱帶亞熱帶氣象 (3)海洋科學研究(4)衛星絕對輻射量校正。預計執行成果有四: (1)建構一個大氣環境監測平台,做為大氣化學、輻射、對流層垂直特徵研究。(2)提升海洋研究船籌載大氣監測技術。(3)建立南中國海海域的氣象、大氣化學、輻射、衛星和海洋完整資料庫,提供大氣污染物源與受體、海洋與大氣交互作用、區域氣候與季風等研究。(4)與美國海軍與NASA 共同合作、資訊交流,進行儀器測試與比對。 In recent years, the environmental problems (ex. industrial pollutions and biomass burning) due to economic development and population growth in Southeast Asia has received international attention. The interaction between air pollutants (such as greenhouse gases and aerosols) and atmospheric radiation related to climate change, becomes a very challenging task for science community. Since 2007, our team has been participating in "The 7 South East Asian Studies (or 7-SEAS)" international observation experiments (2010 – 2013), jointly planned by the U.S. Navy (NRL), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Our proposal is aimed to establish the Dong-Sha Island (DS) as an atmospheric observing platform of atmospheric chemistry, remote sensing, radiation and meteorological parameters, and to testify the cruise missions for ocean studies. These tasks are to be as the pre-test (2009) of the 7-SEAS program. Pre-test in DS and Taiwan R/V will provide a very important test platform for 7-SEAS The platform will be opened to the scientific research team from Taiwan, the United States and Southeast Asian countries to test and inter-compare instruments. Four major scientific research teams include: (1) Atmospheric chemistry and radiation; (2) Regional forecasting and tropicalsubtropical meteorology; (3) ocean study; (4) data retrieval and absolute radiance calibration. Expected achievements are to (1) Establish an atmospheric/environmental observing platform for studying atmospheric chemistry, radiation and vertical profiles of the troposphere, (2) Improve our measuring capability of atmospheric chemistry on R/V, (3) Obtain the comprehensive dataset over South China Sea region for studying the source/receptor relationship of biomass burning and anthropogenic pollutants, and atmospheric/oceanic interactions, and (4) Testify/inter-compare our instruments with those of USA Navy and NASA, and exchange information. 研究期間 : 9808 ~ 9907
